Police investigate possible WWII-vintage hand grenade at Simko

At about 4:05 p.m. today, the Superior Police Department responded to Simko Superior Ltd., a scrap metal facility at 1901 N. 6th St., on a call of a possible hand grenade.

Correction: Twice a year, AIG Investment Advisor Gerald Hendrickson gathers about 600-700 of his clients together to update them on their portfolios. He said he feeds them at his own expense, a business expense. That was what happened Wednesday night at Barker's Island. To talk to 700 people two hours at a time, it would take 1,400 hours. To host the two hour sessions provides an economy of scale resulting in six hours instead of 1,200-1,400 meeting with clients. The Telegram was provided erroneous information and apologizes for the error.
